Mexicola Grande Avocado is an excellent quality, frost hardy variety producing Mexican type fruit to 4 to 8 ounces with thin black skin. This avocado variety bears heavily both inland or along the coast. The compact tree is perfect for backyard use, doing well in full sun or light shade. Will produce some on its own, more with a pollinator such as Bacon, Fuerte or Zutano in the picture. Hardy to the low 20°'s for short duration, bearing its crop August to October. Shipped potted in soil for best possible results when planted in yard or garden.
